Sedona™ is a wholly owned subsidiary of CleanCo Bioscience Group, founded by Dr. David Helfet, a renowned Trauma and Orthopedic surgeon, and Mark Krosney, an industry leading executive from the airline industry.
Sedona's mission is to enable all nations to control their most precious resource, the very air that they breath, using a modern, flexible and affordable solution. Airborne pathogens are one of the most significant existential threats to humanity. Our aim is to provide a comprehensive solution to monitor and ultimately combat them.

Dr. David HELFeT - PRESIDENT
Increases in the spread of hospital acquired infections, antibiotic resistant bacteria, paralysis of international airline networks due to fear of viral outbreaks, and stifling air pollution in the world's major cities are societal risks that have a worldwide impact.
Dr. David Helfet, CleanCo's president and renown orthopedic surgeon, recognized the significance of these risks. He and his colleagues took action to investigate the roles of airborne transmission of pathogens as a common root factor in these risks.
Hospitals are mandated to develop proactive plans to reduce pathogen transmission. Surface disinfection has received significant attention, but Dr. Helfet recognized that methods to reduce airborne pathogens must also be addressed. The question was how?
Mark KROSNEY - CTO
In 2003, the world's airline industry was in chaos due to SARS. SARS is an airborne virus that can easily be spread from one person to another, making local outbreaks common. When the transmission occurs on an international aircraft, the risk is no longer local, but global. Mark Krosney, a CleanCo founder, was a senior executive in the airline industry during the outbreak. He was determined to reduce the risk to the traveling public.
He developed an air disinfection unit that mounted upstream of the overhead fresh air discharge vent at each seat. Those units were expensive and bulky, and the SARS problem diminished after 8,000 deaths, but the risks were never adequately addressed.
David and Mark were brought together by a common business associate. Their concern and vision, teamed with a new solid state technology and analytical process, allowed development of a vastly superior solution for the reduction of the airborne pathogen transmission problem. CleanCo's SteriTube™ technology is suitable for medical facilities, homes, meeting areas and transportation. Sedona is the first implementation of CleanCo's SteriTube™ technology for the consumer market.
